The work may not always be motivating; it may not always feel good, or what you want to do.

But, ideally, the work is good most of the time & you feel excited and motivated by it. 

Importantly, the work allows you to keep going. 

It allows you to funnel money into the things you DO want to do: into the projects you want to work on, the things you want to create & build, the things you care about.

The work allows you to keep the lights on so that one day, you may craft that Something or find that Someone who can create it & support them. 

The work allows you to continue to accumulate the experience, maturity and time to create that thing one day. Or do the networking. Or get to that point where people, place and timing all align. 

So in short, the work may not be what you want, all the time, but maybe it allows you to create (dare I say manifest?), and do & have the things you do want 🙂
